Understanding when your automated emails and SMS messages are sent to leads is key to keeping your communications timely and effective. This guide explains how DenGro’s deployment schedules work to ensure your leads get the right message at the right time.

What is a Deployment Schedule? 📅

A deployment schedule is the planned timetable that controls when each message in an automated sequence is sent to your leads. It helps space out communications to avoid overwhelming your leads and ensures messages arrive at the most appropriate moments during their journey.

How Does the Deployment Schedule Work? ⚙️

Every messaging journey in DenGro has its own unique deployment schedule. This schedule defines the delay between each message being sent, triggered by changes in the lead’s status.

For example, if the journey starts when a lead is marked as NEW, the schedule might send the first message immediately, then the next one after 2 days, and so on.

  • The timing is counted in days, starting from when the lead reaches the specific status point.

  • Messages are automatically sent based on these delays unless switched off manually.

Viewing and Editing Your Deployment Schedule 📝

If you are on the Pro Plan with access to Editable Automations, you can view and customise these deployment schedules:

  • Go to Practice Settings (the cog icon top right of the Today page).

  • Select Practice Messages and choose the message sequence you want to edit.

  • Click View Sequence to see all messages and their scheduled deployment times.

  • Adjust the timing between messages to suit your practice’s needs.

What Happens If I Change a Lead’s Status? 🔄

The deployment schedule resets relative to the new status point. For example:

  • If a lead moves from NEW to APPOINTMENT BOOKED, the automated sequence and message timings linked to the APPOINTMENT BOOKED status will start.

  • Messages tied to the previous status won’t send unless specifically triggered again.

Can I Disable Messages in the Schedule? 🚫

Yes! You can:

  • Turn off specific messages at a status point either globally in Practice Details > Lead Automation Preferences, or

  • Disable messages for individual leads when manually updating their status.

This flexibility helps you tailor communication to each lead’s unique journey.
