🔗 Connecting DenGro to Zapier

Connecting DenGro to Zapier is a simple, code-free way to send form submissions from your website directly into DenGro — no need for HTML or CSS knowledge!

💡 Prefer using code? If you’re confident with HTML/CSS, explore our DenGro Form Builder or Capture Hooks for more customisable options.

🛠 Getting Started

Before you begin, you’ll need:

  • A Zapier account (free or paid, depending on usage).

  • A Manager role in DenGro.

  • Access to any third-party tools you want to integrate with Zapier (e.g. Google Sheets, Mailchimp).

  • An existing form on your website (e.g. Contact Us form with Name, Email, etc.).

🔍 Finding DenGro in Zapier

  1. Head to Settings in DenGro.

  2. Click Integrations.

  3. Scroll to the Zapier block to log in and view or manage your Zaps.

⚡ What’s a Zap?

A Zap is an automation in Zapier. For example, when someone fills in your Contact Us form, the Zap can send that data directly into DenGro as an Enquiry, Lead or Referral.

🔔 Setting Up a Trigger

Your Trigger is the event that starts the Zap. Here's how to set it up using Squarespace as an example:

  1. Log into Zapier.

  2. Click Make a Zap (top right).

  3. Choose your Trigger app (e.g. Squarespace).

  4. Select the trigger event (e.g. New Form Submission), then click Continue.

  5. Connect your Squarespace account.

  6. Choose the form you want to use, then click Continue.

  7. Click Fetch & Continue to test it. You should see a Test Successful message.

✅ Setting Up a DenGro Action

  1. Choose your Action app: search for and select DenGro.

  2. Select the action:

    • Create Enquiry

    • Create Referral

    • Create Lead

    • Create Appointment Request

  3. Connect your DenGro account and click Authorise.

  4. Choose your Group or Practice and click Continue.

  5. Fill in the Form Setup:

    • Select your Practice Token

    • Choose your Affiliate

    • For Lead forms, select the Treatment

  6. Map each form field from your website to DenGro using the dropdown menus (e.g. map “Email” to “Email Address”).

  7. Once all fields are mapped, click Continue.

  8. Test the Zap by clicking Send Test to DenGro, or skip it if you prefer.

  9. Click Finish to activate your Zap.

➕ Adding More Actions

You can expand your Zap with additional steps:

  • Click Add a Step.

  • Choose another app (e.g. Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Slack).

  • Map fields as needed.

  • Rename or delete actions using the three dots menu.

Tip: Add a Consent Field to your Zap to stay GDPR compliant. DenGro will store consent text for auditing purposes.

📌 Final Notes

  • You can view and manage all your Zaps from within the Zapier dashboard.

  • Always test your Zaps to ensure they’re sending data correctly.
