Did you know you can now take deposit payments from patients in DenGro?
DenGro partners with Stripe Connect, a trusted and secure online payment provider, so you can charge and receive deposits from your patients easily and securely.
Your team can now create the payment link for each patient's deposit while in DenGro and then monitor the status of each of those deposit payments. Keeping everything in one place makes things easier and more efficient.
Fees:
There is a minimal % fee for using this service which covers the transaction cost, an example workflow is below.
Setting up Deposit Handling:
The 'Deposit Handling' page is visible to anyone with a Manager role in DenGro. It can be found under the Settings/Cog icon.
To create your Stripe Connect account you must be someone with significant control and management authority within the business as detailed by Companies House. This is typically a company director with at least a 25% share in the business.
It does take a few minutes but the good news is this only needs to be done once.
If you do have authority press 'I have Significant Control'.
Then press 'Sign Up'
Then press 'Add Information'

You can now create a login for your new Stripe account which needs to be verified via a code sent to your mobile or a QR code.
You will now need to complete information about the business including your Companies House Registration Number, VAT number and website address along with personal information of the person who has significant control, e.g. job title.
You will also need to add details of any other business executives or senior managers who have significant management responsibility for the business.
The final step of setting up your Stripe account is to add details of the bank account that you want patient deposit payments to be paid out to.
You then have an opportunity to review all the information supplied before submitting it so do check this carefully before pressing 'Agree & Submit'.
You are now ready to start taking deposit payments via DenGro! You also have access to the Stripe Connect Dashboard from the Deposit Handling page which allows you to see the status of your patients' deposit payments and associated reporting.
Taking Deposits from Leads
Once deposit handling is enabled you will now be able to take deposit payments from your leads.
On the lead profile page you will see a 'Take Deposit' button.
Enter the deposit amount you want to collect from the lead and press 'Done'.
A deposit link will immediately be created and automatically copied to your clipboard ready to be shared with your lead via email (nb. you could use the DenGro Inbox for this or your work email).
When the page refreshes you will now see a 'View Deposit' button on the treatment task.
The status of the deposit will be displayed here, there are 3 statuses:
> Pending
> Paid
> Failed
By hovering over 'Failed', you will be able to see the reason and prompts to see more detail in your Stripe account if needed.
The payment link can be copied to your clipboard from here as well if you need it again.
Share the payment link with the lead allowing them to complete the payment process seamlessly. When the lead has successfully made payment, they will be directed to a checkout page to confirm this.
Please note the payment link is only valid for 24 hours, after that time it will expire and you will need to follow the steps above to generate a new payment link.
The deposit amount and the status is visible on the treatment task at all times
