Using the EXACT Integration with DenGro

Our EXACT integration allows you to sync lead information between DenGro and EXACT, making it easier to manage patient records without duplication or extra admin work. Whether you’re creating a new patient or linking to an existing record, this integration helps you maintain accurate, up-to-date information across both systems.


🔧 What Does the Integration Do?

With the DenGro–EXACT integration, you can:

  • Create a new patient in EXACT from a DenGro lead task.

  • Link a DenGro lead to an existing EXACT patient profile.

  • Sync lead details between DenGro and EXACT to ensure both platforms remain up to date.

🔗 Enabling the EXACT Integration

You’ll need Manager or Integrator access in DenGro to connect with EXACT.

Steps to Enable:

  1. Go to Practice Settings (cog icon at the top right).

  2. Select Practice Integrations.

  3. Scroll down to the EXACT pod and click to expand it.

  4. Click Request Integration and enter your EXACT Practice ID.

The DenGro Practice Support Team will enable the integration and notify you once it’s live.


🚀 Getting Started: How to Use It

Once the integration is active, you can begin linking or creating patient records directly from DenGro.


👤 Create a New EXACT Patient via a Task

  1. Open the relevant lead task in DenGro.

  2. Follow the prompts to create a patient record in EXACT using the lead data.

  3. You may be asked to confirm or update details before the record is created.

🔗 Link a DenGro Lead to an Existing EXACT Patient

You can link a lead to an existing EXACT patient in two ways:

1. Via a DenGro Task

  • When handling a lead task (e.g. booking a consultation), choose to link to an existing EXACT profile instead of creating a new one.

  • DenGro will guide you through the necessary steps and prompts.

2. From the Lead Profile Page

  • Search for the lead in DenGro (by name, email, or phone).

  • Click into their Profile Page.

  • Select Link Lead to Patient (top right).

🔄 Syncing Between DenGro and EXACT

Once a lead is linked to a patient in EXACT, you can sync changes across both platforms:

  • If you update contact info in DenGro (e.g. phone number), click the Sync Lead button on the lead’s profile to push updates to EXACT.

  • Changes made in EXACT (e.g. a name update) will also sync back to DenGro automatically.


🛠️ Troubleshooting Sync Issues

EXACT is not a cloud-based system, so connection issues can occur.

  • If there’s a syncing error, it will be flagged on the lead profile in DenGro.

  • DenGro clearly displays any EXACT error messages to help you resolve the issue.
