πŸš€ What Are Outbound Webhooks?

Outbound webhooks let you send data from DenGro to other platforms when specific events happenβ€”like new leads or enquiries. Think of them as data messengers: when something updates in DenGro, your chosen app (like Mailchimp or Zapier) gets notified instantly.

πŸ“¬ Example Use Cases:

  • Add a new lead to a Mailchimp list.

  • Trigger a Zap in Zapier, connecting DenGro to 1,000s of apps.

πŸ› οΈ How to Create an Outbound Webhook

Access Required: Manager or Integrator role in DenGro.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations (click the cog icon).

  2. Scroll to the Outbound Webhook section.

  3. Click Create Outbound Webhook.

  4. Give your webhook a name (e.g., "Mailchimp New Subscribers").

  5. Enter the webhook URL (from the external app).

  6. Click Generate Key – this authenticates your connection.

  7. Select the events that should trigger the webhook.

  8. Toggle Active to switch the webhook on.

Your webhook is now live and will keep working until paused.

πŸ”„ Events That Can Trigger a Webhook

  • Lead Created – New lead added or assigned from another account.

  • Lead Updated – Contact details changed.

  • Lead Deleted – Lead removed from the system.

  • Referral Created – New referral received.

  • Referral Updated – Contact info for a referral changed.

  • Referral Deleted – Referral removed.

  • Enquiry Created – New enquiry added.

  • Enquiry Updated – Enquiry contact info updated.

  • Enquiry Deleted – Enquiry deleted.

  • Lead Journey Created – New treatment enquiry created.

  • Lead Journey Updated – Enquiry status changed (e.g., from New to Consultation Booked).

Outbound webhooks are a way to send information from one system to another, typically when a specific action occurs.

Within DenGro you can create an outbound webhook to notify an external application/software of an event such as a new lead coming in. Think of it like a spider web where information captured in DenGro can be sent out to other software as things are happening with your lead.
