Why would I want to export my lead data from DenGro?

Using DenGro means you no longer need a spreadsheet to track leads, we also understand the importance of a good spreadsheet for gathering information that you can’t access elsewhere.

Exporting your lead data allows you to download the relevant information into a spreadsheet, which you can then import into an email deployment service for sending details of promotions, offers, or other announcements. It also allows you to pivot, filter and arrange the data to conduct analysis, produce information and insight.

Great, where do I find the export button?

You can export your leads from the Lead List page, found under the Contacts menu at the top of the DenGro page.

The Lead List page displays a list of all the leads in your DenGro account, which you can then narrow down using the different filter options.

How do I filter the lead list to match my specific requirements?

To set your filters, click on the Edit Filters button. This will open a set of different categories that you can filter your leads by:

Treatment – by default, this will be set to ALL TREATMENTS, but you can select to view all leads registered for a specific treatment from the drop-down menu.

Date From/Date To – here, you can set the date range of when leads were received into DenGro.

Status – by default, this will be set to ALL, but you can choose to view leads who are currently sitting as a specific status point in the conversion journey.

Channel – this refers to the Marketing Channel that the leads came from. This allows you to view all leads that came through from a Channel such as Paid Search (Google, Bing etc.) or Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram etc.)

Affiliate – if you work with a marketing agency that is running specific landing pages/forms for you, the agency should tag those forms so that leads submitted through the forms are registered as being generated by that particular agency.

Active/Inactive – by default, this field will be set to Active to show only leads who are still actively moving through the conversion journey. If you want to see all leads who were marked as no longer interested in treatment, select Inactive from the drop-down.

Once you’ve set your filters, simply click on Apply Filters to refresh the page and update the list of leads displayed.

I’m ready to export!

Fantastic! To export your list of leads, click on the Edit Filters button again. Then click on Export.

DenGro will then show you a pop-up asking you to confirm that you understand you’re downloading personal identifying information, before showing you the final Export button.

Can I customise what data I export?

Yes! You can tell DenGro which data you want to download for the leads that you’ve filtered. Simply click on the Customise Export button on the pop-up screen after clicking the first Export button.

All available data will be pre-selected by default, but you can choose to deselect ALL boxes and then re-select any relevant data headings.

Once you’re done, just click Export to download the data.

Where does the download go?

The export will be downloaded to the Downloads Folder on your computer or laptop – this may also be recorded on your web browser. If you’re using Chrome, you’ll find the Downloads page by clicking on the three vertical dots at the top right of the window.

What’s a CSV?

A CSV is a type of spreadsheet and is the most common file used by email deployment services when importing contacts to send messages to. You can choose to save the .CSV as an Excel file if required.
