To keep your Facebook/Instagram (Meta) integration with DenGro working smoothly, you need to refresh your Facebook token from time to time.

⚠️ Why Does This Happen?

Facebook tokens can expire due to:

  • Security policies

  • Changes to page admins

  • Regular Meta updates

When a token expires, DenGro loses access to your lead ads and can’t import new leads until you refresh the connection.

You’ll see a warning task on your Today page if your token needs updating.

🔐 Only the person who originally set up the integration can refresh the token. Their name and email will be shown on the warning task.

🔧 How to Refresh Your Token

Step 1: Open the Integrations Page

  • Go to Settings in the main navigation

  • Select Integrations from the dropdown menu

  • Click on the Facebook/Instagram (Meta) panel

Step 2: Log In & Refresh the Token

  • Click Log Into Meta and enter your credentials

  • Look for the "Refresh Token" prompt next to your practice name
(If you manage multiple pages, scroll to the relevant one)

  • Click Refresh Token

Step 3: Confirmation

Once successfully refreshed:

  • A confirmation message will appear in DenGro

  • The warning task on your Today page will disappear

  • Your Facebook lead ads will start syncing with DenGro again

✅ Done!

You're now reconnected and leads will continue flowing from Meta into DenGro as expected.
